NCT 127 are going to help their non-Korean-speaking fans with a special lesson on reading subtitles for The Daily Show With Trevor Noah’s upcoming first-ever daytime special.
Dubbed The Daily Show With Trevor Noah Presents: Remotely Educational, class will be in session for the half-hour special that offers remote-learning classes about critical life lessons, such as money management. The K-pop supergroup teaches their fans about an extra credit lesson on reading — specifically subtitles.
“In order to better understand and communicate with us, NCT 127, it’s very important to know how to read,” Jaehyun begins lecturing in the teaser video. Other members then chime in, saying, “Yes, it’s very important so make sure you read a lot, and keep studying! And if you do so, you’ll be able to better understand us through these subtitles” while pointing down at the yellow text.
NCT 127 then comes together as a collective to conclude the lesson with, “So don’t forget how to read!” before signing off.
The Daily Show’s daytime special will premiere on Wednesday (March 10) at 8:30 a.m. ET and again during the show’s regular 11 p.m. ET slot on Comedy Central. Remotely Educational will be available the next morning on March 11 on Paramount+, which offers a 30-day free trial.
